About Me
This is my first pregnancy, we got pregnant the first month of trying, but I had been tracking my cycles for about 11 months prior (used pull-out method to "avoid" pregnancy). Right now I am a student nurse set to graduate this June, hopefully take my board exam in July for my RN, then have baby in August! I fear my water breaking mid-way through at the NCLEX testing center-eek! I currently work in a hospital part-time as a CNA and love what I do! I've been super fortunate to keep up on many of my hobbies/passions like running (although milage/speed is drastically reduced) and still skiing and light ski-mountaineering (low-"risk" terrain, though).My Birth Plan
Planning unmedicated at the local hospital and will be using the HypnoBabies skills to work through it! DH will be there for the birth, family will visit sometime after we had our bonding time/ a chance to recover/clean-up a bit, or next morning if it's a night time delivery.Since this is my first baby hopefully I will know when I'm actually in labor! I plan to be at home for most of labor or until water breaks then go to hospital, it is only a 15 minute drive in a rural area.
I have an awesome OB whom from what I have seen/experienced is fairly hands-off and allows for the natural process. (I had the lucky experience of "shopping" last fall during my maternity rotation for school and could see the docs in action).
