About Me

This is my 3rd pregnancy. My first two are two years apart, and the 3rd one will be two years apart from my 2nd child. Thankfully, it took less than 3 cycles to conceive any of my children. Looking forward to my 3rd little peanut... would go for number 4 but I'm not sure if the dh is totally up for that :-)

My Birth Plan

My first came pretty fast when the labour kicked in so there was not much time for an epidural... which i really, really, really wanted... it was the worst pain I thought i would ever feel.. lol. But, I have to say, it was a blessing in disguise because I did bounce back pretty fast.

Surprisingly, when I was in labour with number two... the whole process just felt 100x easier so when they asked me for the epidural I didn't take it. I think my body just knew what it was doing this time around. Well, the joke was on me when it came to pushing cause my little peanut was anything but little... try being 10.5 lbs!

Regardless, I made it through the first two drug free so, God willing, the 3rd will be the same (as long as there are no complications).

So my birth plan is pretty simple:

*Drug free
*wouldn't mind having a bath during contractions... heard that takes the edge off really well
*and no ice, or ice chips, or ice water... don't put anything near my mouth while im screaming... (my dh learned the hard way :-)
