About Me

I am 29-years-old, so I got my wish of having at least one more before I turn 30! I have two daughters from a previous marriage. Kya Mae (10) and Aria June (8). They are the lights of my life and my best friends. It took my SO and I four months of TTC, and the first month I naturally ovulated was a success. We still have a long road ahead of us. I have had two LEEPs since 2010, and a pulmonary emboli last summer. So I have many different complications that could arise. Premature labor, high risk of miscarriage, not able to dilate, blood clots due to estrogen rises, etc. We are praying for the best!!

My Birth Plan

My number 1 goal is to get to at least week 32 with this pregnancy. Another complication that my LEEP has caused other than preterm labor or my cervix being incompetent, is not being able to dilate if I have too much scar tissue. One of my biggest fears has always been a C-section. Praying I can deliver this baby naturally. I have never experienced anything more wonderful in life than holding my daughter within the second she was born, and nursing skin-to-skin in the first twenty minutes of her life. I would like to experience that again!! Other than that, I plan to have no family and friends other than my two daughters and significant other at the hospital this time around. Or narrow it down to no more than ten or so people and have a set time for everyone to visit. It was a madhouse with my first two children. In fact, I'll probably ask my SO to not tell anyone that we are even at the hospital until at least a couple hours after baby is born.

Thank you! I'm honestly less worried about that PEs than the LEEPs. I now know of two people in my town that have lost babies at 5 months pregnant due to complications caused by past LEEP procedures. But still hoping for the best!!! Congrats on your bfp!!

I have a history of PEs as well, it makes things complicated but fingers crossed you have nothing to worry about! Congrats!
