About Me

My DH and I have been TTC for 3 years. After the loss of our 3rd early loss our OB/GYNO ran some I depth test on us. The test came back with me having Coeliac Disease and DH having a Balanced Translocation of 14 & 15. We were devastated as we were told IVF with PGD was the only way. We are determined to continue to try naturally. After another 3 losses we decided to put TTC on hold Nd go on a holiday. We went to Europe last year and when we got home we found out I was pregnant!! We went to the OB who said I was a high risk and was entitled to weekly scans. At our 10 week scan we found out that our baby had grew wings at 8w5d (didn't have a 9 week scan due to new year). I had a d&c on the 11th Jan 12. After a week I was still bleeding but very very light and I was still in a lot of pain. Went back to the OB who found that I had a blood clot the size of a grapefruit!! After some medication I finally passed it a week later. I then had a visit from AF and found out we were pregnant again. On Easter Monday (9 weeks) all my symptoms start to go. When we went to the OB on Wednesday all of my symptoms were totally gone, and I said to him that I was pretty sure my angel had grew wings again. It was confirmed by ultrasound that there was no heartbeat :( We decided to see if I would miscarry naturally but nothing happened. So I had another d&c and my OB said that I need to stop TTC naturally and go down the IVF path.

We had a first round of IVF/ICSI/PGD cycle in September which unfortunately ended in a bfn :( We are now pregnant with our only frostie and couldn't be happier
