About Me

Tumors preventing conception were surgically removed last August via robotic laparascopy. The hormonal disruption caused a significant imbalance and a four month bleeding episode, further preventing conception. My husband and I completed all the forms to begin our first Clomid and IUI cycle in June, only I never started my period!!! I got pregnant on my first regular period after a long two year fight with my body! I am thankful, grateful, excited and HAPPY. This is my first pregnancy. We are Team Green.

Looking for connections with positive women!

Hi Hun. My midwife said they don't do glucose tests unless there is a need to. I.e after checking urine tests are okay. I hope this is true and i'm not just being fobbed off with poor care. I'm feeling very physically tired from the sciatica but otherwise okay. Hope everything goes well at the sonogram xx

Glad to hear everything is going well x I had my 24 week appointment at 25 weeks, but no glucose test and no measuring. I'm abit concerned. I've also put on around 35 pounds since the start of pregnancy- which for my bmi is too much i'm told so abit concerned there. I'm going to call my midwife tomorrow to check. I can never get hold of her on the phone though! Will keep you updated, best wishes for you and baby x
