About Me

This is my third pregnancy, but will be my 2nd child. I M/C with my 1st pregnancy at 13 weeks. My 2nd pregnancy I went into labor at 36 weeks and my son was born via c-section with gastoschisis(intestines were protruding from his stomach) and was in the NICU for the first 3 months of his life. He was only 3 lbs 13 oz when he was born because of a withered umbilical cord. My husband and I are hoping that 3rd times a charm and that I can have a problem free pregnancy with a healthy baby at the end of the 9 months.
I feel like I've been through hell and back with my past pregnancy's and just hope my luck changes this time around.

My Birth Plan

*Decided to have another c-section around 30 week appointment-figured this way I know what to expect and can feel more prepared.

*I plan on it just being me and my husband at the hospital and would like for visitors to wait a few hours before coming(chance to work on breastfeeding, resting up, and of course bonding time with baby).

*If I go into labor before the c-section I plan on it still just being me and my husband at the hospital. If this happens, I'm just going to go with the flow with whether or not pain meds are a ya or nay. Depending on the time of day we would still like for visitors to wait a few before visiting.

With the pain meds can you still breast feed, this is also something I feel very strongly about and I don't want all of it stolen from me. How long was hospital stay?? We have alway talked about having two but at this point I'm not sure there will be two in our future. I'm trying to be level headed about this but am more upset that everything I have wanted for this pregnancy has not gone anyhow near what we wanted but like I said a healthy baby is the ultimate goal hoping by next week I'll feel somewhat better=(
