Quartz3's Pregnancy

About Me

My first pregnancy ended in a termination in 2012 due to the fact that the baby's brain had failed to develop. As if that alone wasn't bad enough, the Genetics Team was not able to tell us for sure whether it was a fluke or we are the unlucky carriers of a genetic condition which would carry a 1 in 4 risk of reoccurring each pregnancy.

However, we were lucky enough to get a beautiful, wonderfully normal baby boy in 2013. So we decided to tempt fate again and got pregnant on our first cycle trying! Now we're crossing our fingers that everything goes well....

Nov. 20 - NT scan : normal!
Jan. 7 - Level 2 ultrasound: normal!
Jan. 12 - Fetal MRI; NORMAL!!!!

	Comment from knicole27 » Posted Oct. 13, 2014 4:03am I have had hip bursitis for years . Back in the states before I had any babies I would get cortisone shots in them , hurts like heck to lay on my sides .

I get sooooo bored and my symptoms this pregnancy were super mild too. Some days I questioned my pregnancy which on still doing despite the belly I can't feel him still so it's like ... "Okayyyy" lol I'm pretty tired still . Sleeping is getting uncomfortable already . Not because of my size but this stupid hip bursitis sucks !!!

	Comment from knicole27 » Posted Sep. 20, 2014 4:05am Well praise the lord this time the morning sickness was incredibly mild than with him but there were days were I was so exhausted and so queasy that I just turned on a movie and laid on the couch like a lump. :/ I hated doing that ever but its the only way. He's two now too so he has a ton of energy. Running and.. Jumping. Thats a fun one. I don't know also if I just didn't focus on a lot of my symptoms this time though because he keeps me so busy and distracted?! without him I may have felt sicker? Idk. lol. This pregnancy though so far has been a complete 180 from his pregnancy. I am praying this is a good sign! and that it remains that way the ENTIRE time. my goal is to have a baby at least to term! and healthy! OB has me on blood thinners right now. But i just feel healthier this time. and my biggest advice for having a toddler in early pregnancy. Don't be afraid to ask for help!! <3

We weren't even trying yet ! Ha! Next appt is next Friday and he's going to take a peak and take a 80% guess on the sex! Super excited ! :) how's your lil man doing ?!
	Comment from knicole27 » Posted Sep. 18, 2014 11:25am It has been different. but so far a good different. I am being monitored pretty closely this time and my german ob speaks awesome english and is already taking a lot of preventative precautions . So it makes me a lot more confident.
