Hey! My name is Brooke! I am 22 yrs old. I just found out that I'm pregnant! Still in shock! Took my boyfriend (of 4 years) and I 6 months until we finally get to say we're PREGNANT!!!

Update: We are having a GIRL!!!!!!!

My Birth Plan

I guess I came into this pregnancy not really understanding all there is to labor and birth! Since finding out I have done a lot of reading about pain meds, different position, c-sections, tears...all the fun things!

I have decided that I would like to labor for as long as I can, but then definitely get the lovely epidural that I've heard so much about!

I would like it to only be the doc, nurses, and my boyfriend and I in the room throughout labor and delivery.

I would love to be able to push while in the reclining position. Also no surgical cuts allowed!!!!!

My boyfriend will be cutting the umbilical cord.

Once baby is cleaned off I want the baby to be handed to daddy right away and then to me!

I will then breastfeed as soon as I can.

Would really like no visitors for the first 2 hours.

And I want daddy or I present for everything that happens with baby girl!

I understand that plans can always change, so I will go into labor and delivery with a wish and a open mind!

I took one of my daughters' play buns and put it in the oven and told him that i went to use the oven but there was a spider in it. I asked him to look and to kill it. So he opens up the oven and took the bun out, and set it on top. Looked for the spider and said that he couldn't find it. And i said...Daniel, the bun. He was like, yeah so? I muttered, bun in the oven. He threw his arms up and was SPEECHLESS.! I was kinda hummed that he didn't get it like I wanted him to, but it was still a wonderful reaction. :-)
