About Me

Hello everyone! This is my second pregnancy and I am super excited and blessed that I am able to become a mother again. My first born is a boy and his name is Caleb and he was born on February 23, 2012 at 39 weeks weighing in at 7lbs 19 3/4 inches long. He was and still is a beautiful baby and he is my world. My husband and I couldn't be more happy. he is 10 months old now and into everything, he really keeps me busy but I love every minute of it. I am 27 years old and I am a nurse living in Illinois. I am just looking for people going through some of the same experiences as I am. I found out I was pregnant with the second baby at 3 weeks and 3 days which is very early and so I am trying to pass the time away because 9 months is a long time and I am trying to keep my mind off of the wait. For the first pregnancy it took us one month to get pregnant and with this pregnancy it took 3 months so we have had good luck getting pregnant fast.

My Birth Plan

I had no birthplan with my first baby because I wasn't sure what I was gonna be faced with. I was induced and they did break my water and I did recieve and epidural. at 39 weeks I was 3 cm dialitad whiched helped me make the decision on having my labor induced. with this next pregnancy I would like not to be induced, and I would like to go as natural as possible, holding off on my epidural until 6 to 7 cms. I waited that long with my first son and it made a big difference. I also walked around and did the birthing tub as well with my fist child, I will be doing that again.
