About Me

I have been married for three years to DH. We have a very ornery, stubborn two year old that we love dearly! She is our world. We didn't have to try for very long for this little one, but boy was this last cycle a doozy. I spotted almost every day of the cycle, had the doc pop a cyst, and had a listeria scare after being extremely sick with almost all of our family members get diagnosed with it. I am one lucky lady to be pregnant and to have avoided that.

My Birth Plan

With my daughter things went how I had planned. I started my reading the Bradley Method, a book preparing for a natural, non-medicated birth. When I went in for my first stress test at 37 weeks I was surprised to find that I was in labor. I finished a final in the delivery room for my Masters, and ended up delivering a few minutes before midnight with NO medication! I am hoping that we again are able to have a non-medicated birth as I think it helped me recover quicker and was healthier for our baby.
