About Me
SAHM to a girl (2013) and boy (2015), and expecting a surprise boov number 3 August 2017!I love to knit and am currently learning to sew clothing, I am especially interested in refashioning and creating new clothes from upcycled/thrifted clothing.
I am firmly a woo-free preggo and mom, I follow science and evidence based parenting only!
My Birth Plan
My first 2 births were vaginal with no pain medication. I know that I have been very lucky so far to not need a c section or an epidural, but I am not against either procedure, I want whatever will provide the safest outcome for mom and baby!We have moved to a smaller town so my ob care is being handled by our new family Dr and so far she is great! She will be delivering the baby as well which will be new for us as our other 2 births were just taken by the ob on duty at the hospital (which was also a great experience).
I needed a little help with dilation during my first labour (the dilation foam applied to cervix can't remember the name) and my second labour I was dilated almost 6 cm with no contractions so the Dr broke my water for me which got everything going much quicker. I don't have a specific birth plan other than to go with the flow and hope for a healthy baby and a quick labour (pleeeeease!)
