About Me
I'm 36 (DAMN! I feel like I'm only 28). I have a 2 year old boy and a 5 month old girl pop outta me. I also have a 23 year old step-daughter who's about to give me a grandson (wrap your mind around that for a second). I'd love to try for a third, if my body will allow it. My son was induced due to severe preeclampsia. My daughter was induced due to gestational diabetes and hypertension. Maybe the third time's the charm and I'll have a "normal" (if there is such a thing) pregnancy...My Birth Plan
I'd like to just have a natural labor and delivery. Both my kids were induced - one took 36 hours, one took less than 2 hours. I'd really like to experience going into labor naturally, without the use of drugs.As for pain meds - I've had an epidural and I've gone drug-free. I kept thinking during the second one that the pain was only going to get worse, and then she was in my arms. So going forward, no epidural. I've discovered the pain didn't live up to the hype I had in my head.
