About Me

We already have 2 boys - Gage (11) and Kasen (4). We have been TTC #3 for about 17 months. I have been taking Clomid for the majority of the 17 months. The first cycle was a success on clomid alone but ended in a miscarriage. I kept taking clomid alone for several more months with the dosage going all the way up to 150mg with no success. For my last cycle of trying before taking a break I wanted to try one last thing, so we tried IUI with a Novarel trigger shot (technically 2 shots). The IUI was a SUCCESS!! I'm due on Christmas and we are all beyond excited! Because I took the clomid I know we have a chance of multiples - truthfully I kinda hope we have twins :-)

My Birth Plan

Because I have already had 2 previous c-sections, I will be having another c-section with this baby. I have a history of having bigger babies so it's safer for me and the baby to have c-sections. My oldest son was 8lbs 8oz and my younger son was 9lbs 2oz. During my c-section I will be having a spinal block and then a pain bag for the incision pain. I usually don't take any additional pain meds while in the hospital, but after I go home I'll be taking tylenol.
