Alysandra Mary's Birth Story

My water broke at 340 am and I was not having contractions as yet. I was in labor for 6 hrs before getting the epidural. Alysandra was sitting funny and causing my contractions to come right on top of each other w/no break in between. Also, I had not dilated but remained fully effaced. After that, things moved along well. I dilated to an 8, but remained there w/no progress for 5 hrs. (maybe more). The dr felt it was best to do a c-section. My girl was born and it was AMAZING! She is so beautiful! <3

Hey there! Just checking in to see how you are doing. Hope you are feeling great and enjoying your pregnancy! :) Jace was 4 weeks old yesterday. I can't believe how time flies! He's a good baby, just a little fussy at night. And has been sleeping 5 hours or so at night, so that's a nice extra nap :)

If there's one piece of advice I wish someone would have given me the first time I had a baby (I've know this for the other 3 though, thank goodness) is cabbage!!! Nothing relieves engoregment when your milk comes in than cabbage leaves! Make sure you have a head by the 3rd day or so after birth! :) Hope your feeling great and enjoying your pregnancy ((hugs))
