Please excuse the bruising! I'm on twice daily heparin (blood thinner) injections because of a blood clotting disorder. I'm also on progesterone suppositories so this is probably more bloat than baby! 7 weeks exactly!

Comment from scoobyfanatic56 » Posted Jan. 17, 2015 2:29pm helen - I think I'll probably move to my thigh once my skin on my tummy gets too thin to use. mnor - Hopefully my bruising will also subside before the end of the first trimester. That is encouraging! kitten - It is pretty sore! joreifm - haha about the banana comment!
Comment from Joriefm » Posted Jan. 16, 2015 4:16pm This is adorable! You look like a banana when it's ripening lol <3
Comment from Kitten90 » Posted Jan. 16, 2015 2:37pm You are most likely right about it being bloat but it's still a cute little belly lol! =) That bruising looks pretty sore though =(
Comment from mnor0406 » Posted Jan. 16, 2015 2:35pm I remember my tummy looking like that! I am on lovenox this pregnancy and had major bruising early on too. Mysteriously though I stopped bruising around week 9 or 10 I think. Maybe I got used to them? Hopefully the bruising settles down for you too.
Comment from helenmelons » Posted Jan. 16, 2015 12:27pm Oh poor you. I have also been on blood thinners and am now 29 weeks, my bruising has got much better over time, I find injecting in the hip and thigh takes the pressure off the tummy a bit. Good luck x |
