Well I have felt like absolute crap this week. I've had a sore throat and headache. Then last night I fell asleep on the sofa at 7pm, went to bed at 8pm and my fiancé shouts at me to wake up at 10.30pm as youngest was choking on vomit and he couldn't quite bring her around straight a way. Anyway eventually she came around and her bed was caked in vomit poor girl. Showered her and fiancé off and laid her in our bed and she threw up again. Its been a looooong night. Fiancé slept on the sofa with DD1 who woke up burning. Sent her to school next day as she was okay, but got a phone call within an hour and half to come and collect her. So my day today has been snuggling on the sofa feeling sorry for myself and cleaning DD's bedroom.

Comment from Robin2212 » Posted Sep. 19, 2016 11:58am I might add where I live if a children's isn't feeling good well then it's not a good enough reason to keep them off. It's wrong but that's how it is here. But I would never send one of my daughters into school if they are very poorly with sickness or diarrhea.
Comment from Robin2212 » Posted Sep. 19, 2016 11:56am I have 2 daughters. I kept my youngest off nursery she was the one throwing up. I sent my eldest in who was fine. We'll I thought she was. She fist start throwing up till Sunday late night so obviously I haven't sent her in to school today. Where I live you have to be clear for 24hr sickness 48hrs if diarrhea.
Comment from nreiselpn » Posted Sep. 18, 2016 11:48am I'm confused you sent your sick daughter to school? Our district has a strict policy if they have thrown up in the past 24 hours had a fever or just arnt feeling well you should keep them home.... |
