They are gone

Both of our embryos are gone. I knew before we went into the ultrasound because I opened up the envelope the ER doc gave us and saw that what the doc meant by the embryos being “a little small” was his way of dodging the truth that they were three weeks late in development and that “we didn’t see a heartbeat” was his way of saying there were no fetal poles at all. I guess he thought he was doing the right thing giving us hope and maybe it was at the time.

Im gonna let the tears roll as they come, but I don’t want to lose myself in grieving. My husband and I want to move to the next step and see a specialist to figure out why we keep miscarrying. If nothing else we can find closure before we move on to adoption. It’s the worst feeling in the world to realize your worst fear of truly being infertile. Not only do I have PCOS and hypothyroid, but there is something else too. It’s unbelievable. All I can do is accept my truth, try my best to overcome it with the specialist’s help, and move on to adoption if we are still unsuccessful.

My best to all of you! Know how blessed you are and love every minute of it!

I am so so sorry. Take all the time you need to grieve. Seeing a specialist is a great idea. We thought our only issue was my husband's morphology, but I couldn't keep a pregnancy either until my specialist finally found the right combination. Prayers for you and your husband.

I am what I like to call atypical PCOS, or what is commonly called thin PCOS, so the normal tendencies are not all there for me.

Every time I get tested for progesterone when pregnant it is on the high end of normal, so no.

Have they had you on a progesterone supplement at all?
