I feel worse coming out with all of the questions I have now than I did going into the ultrasound. It was an all around bad experience. I thought I was supposed to go to my usual ultrasound office as when the nurse called A few weeks ago she just said my ultrasound was scheduled for the 18th at 11:15. She never said oh by the way, we're sending you to the high risk ultrasound office which is in another building. So I had to find that place but luckily I wasn't late. Then they said the kids couldn't go in with me which meant my husband, who took today off to see our baby, had to wait in the waiting room. The other office allows kids, so I didn't know this was going to be an issue. So I was going to record a video for him & thought they would understand, but the lady (who was awful) yelled... Actually YELLED at me to shut my phone off right now. Then throughout the whole appointment made comments like " Did you know you were measuring THIS far behind?? Your baby's head is measuring really far behind. Guess you'll have to wait to hear from the doctor about that." I felt like she wanted me to worry. She kept making those comments all thoroughout and then if I asked what that might mean she was like, "can't tell you." she was so rude.

I think it said the babies head measured 24 wks and some days, and I'm at 25. Has this happened to any of you with a good outcome? Mind you, I went to this appointment because they said they didn't receive pics of the SPINE last time.

I am so glad you decided to step up and file a complaint. There needs to be more people like you in the world. And you are absolutely right. If this were to happen to someone in a critical condition, it would've been disastrous. These people need to have a heart and a brain. It's utterly shameful for them to act this way. Hope they get what they deserve. Hopefully their management is better than their employees. Thank you for keeping us updated btw. I really appreciate it. Good luck with your future. I'm going to be keeping an eye out for more updates.Hopeful for the good news. Stay safe and stay healthy!

Good for you for filing a complaint. I’m so glad your OB wasn’t concerned and baby is doing great!!

I just filed the complaint. I would hate for that to happen to someone with serious complications. They don't deserve that. Hopefully she wouldn't do that to someone like that, but ya never know. Hopefully this will insure that it doesn't.

It saddens me just to hear this story. You've gone through an awful thing for something that is'nt even your fault. Shame on the doctors for treating you this way. No woman should be treated like this when she's expecting to be a mother. It's not good for her health nor her baby's health. I hope you do not keep these people's sayings in your head. Just ignore them, and be strong. Sadly i am not aware of any other good hospitals in your area so i am not able to reccommend you to any, but please ask your friends and family for advice. I am sure they will help you out. As far as the hospital you just went to, please do not visit it again. It's not good for you to have these tests done while being scolded like this. It would be better to leave your children with a sitter next time, or a daycare. That way your husband will be able to accompany you in his time off. It is extremely necessary for him to be with you at all costs. That way you can avoid situations like these in the future.

That is so awful of that ultrasound tech. I would complain to the manager.

So today my doctor said everything looks good. She said they don't worry unless it's under 4%... well considering that one measurement was 4% I feel like that's a little too close for comfort. She said she sees numbers like that all the time. She agreed that the lady shouldn't have talked to me the way she did. She offered to find me a form to fill out but I think I will just do it on the website. Although I like my doctor, she is notoriously late to every appointment and the kids and I were ready to leave. (We got there 15 minutes early as required, only to wait in the waiting room for an hour and then wait some more in our room). All in all we were there for over 2 hours. Typically I don't have a sitter as my mom doesn't really like to watch my kids. And also, this was short notice as the appointment was just made yesterday. My doctor has 3 kids and doesn't mind them coming with me though, so it's not a big deal I guess. My next appt is my GD in 2 weeks.

Good luck on your appointment today and I hope you ROAST that horrible U/S tech. How completely unprofessional and in a MFM clinic too! These are high risk women who are dealing with potentially fatal problems and you have the balls to be rude?? Empathy should be a mandatory requirement for EVERY one of their staff and I'd do what you could to get that b&tch fired. But that's just me...and I get very Mama Tiger when pregnant :)

I’m really glad you get to go in tomorrow and you’re reporting that crazy tech! And if your EDD wasn’t even right for the ultrasound that could screw up the percentile results for sure. Praying you get some helpful answers
