38+4, could this be the real deal???? ****update****

I was having mild contractions most of the day yesterday. Did a lot of cleaning while my husband was at work. When he got home, we went to WalMart and did a LOT of walking. I managed to talk hubby into chinese for dinner. Contractions got stronger overnight, about 15 minutes apart, enough to keep me awake most of the night. I had my husband stay home from work today, just in case. Contractions are now 7-10 minutes apart, and strong enough to take my breath away. A shower did not stall them at all, in fact it seemed to help them along. My youngest is taking his nap right now, but when he gets up, I am calling the on call ob at my hospital to see when I should come in. (I have an hour drive to get there.) I really hope this is it! Fingers crossed that Valerie is ready to come out!
UPDATE
I am being sent home due to lack of progression for 3 hours. Currently sitting at 4cm dilated, but definitely in early labor.

 | Comment from Cattsmeow » Posted Nov. 14, 2015 1:10pm Thank you, ladies! I'm still at home as the contractions seem to have stalled out and are staying at 7 minutes. Hospital won't admit me until they are less than 5 minutes apart. I'm getting ready to go for a walk and see if I can coax them along. I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I lost what looks like the majority of my plug, so I'm hoping that's a good sign with all of the contractions. |
