38+6, Induction tomorrow!

And it just hit me. I am having my baby tomorrow! I will be holding my daughter in my arms at some point TOMORROW! Oh, the feels! lol. I am excited, nervous, anxious, and so many other emotions all mixed into one big ball of mush inside my head. lol. We still have quite a bit to do here at home today. Our social worker will be here in about an hour (the one that comes by once a week and helps my husband and I figure out effective ways to cope with my oldest's outbursts), then we have the meeting at the school to dicuss our options for my son. I need to do the dishes, get all the laundry washed/dried/put away, make up Valerie's crib, take out all the trash, clean out the fridge. We still have to go by my husband's job to fill out the vacation paperwork for this week. Then, we're picking my oldest up from school so we can head up to my in-laws house for the night. We were just going to drop the boys off and come home, but my mil suggested we stay too, so we are. My in laws live a little over 2 hours away from us, and the hospital is in the middle. So instead of getting up insane early tomorrow to take the boys all the way up there and then back track to the hospital, we're all just going to stay up there tonight and head to the hospital from thier house. Plus, we're on a different time zone than my hospital (we are central time and they are eastern), so being at my in-laws puts us on the same time as the hospital, so it's less likely we will forgot to convert the time, etc. I feel bad about not having the boys there while I labor, but I think it may be easier on them to be somewhere that they can run around and play instead of being cooped up at the hospital all day.

We also took the boys to the mall yesterday. My husband and my oldest picked out a bear for Valerie at Build a Bear. It is a birth day gift from her bubbies and we are going to give it her tomorrow when they meet her. It was my oldest's idea and is incredibly sweet. He is so excited to have a baby sister. We also got the boys "big brother" gifts from Valerie. They already have possession of them, but we told them they were from Sissy. My oldest got a tin Ironman lunchbox and we got my youngest a stuffed Ironman beanie ball. (They each picked out their own gift.) We've been spending a lot of money on baby things for Valerie, so we thought it was only fair to get them something to help them feel more included.

Yay! I am so excited for you! And what a great idea with the Build-a-Bear!

That's great that he can help you with everything. My girls were interested in the bears, because of the clothing changes. So we won't have to get a new bear every year, but I plan to take them to let them pick out outfits once or twice a year. The baby's bear has a Star Wars tshirt on it right now. Lol. That was Daddy of course. Haha!

Summer, we get the boys bears from there every year for their birthday. And we will continue to do that until they are no longer interested in getting them.
I highly doubt I will get much sleep tonight, but I am planning on napping at some point today. Plus, I'm going to call my ob and see if it would be ok to take 1 Tylenol PM before bed to help me sleep. And I will be getting an epidural at some point during my labor. (I'm a whimp. lol.) So I figure I can catch a few cat naps during. That's what I did last year when I was in labor with my youngest son. Plus, my husband was scheduled off today, so he's helping me get everything done.

Only one more day. That is so awesome. It will definitely be here before you know it with all the running around you are doing today and tonight. I'm sure the time with just fly for you. I hope you can sleep well and anxiety about tomorrow doesn't keep you up tonight. We got our baby a bear from Build-A-Bear last month, too. My girls were really interested in it, so I went and got them each one for Christmas from me. I thought they were too old for stuff like that, but I guess not. Good luck getting everything done today, and don't push yourself too hard. You're going to need lots of energy tomorrow. Can't wait to hear all about it!!
