Little bugger!!!!

Nurse came in, she couldn't find a heartbeat. Doctor comes in, nope. I start crying so they rush me into ultrasound and there he/she is just jumping away happy as can be like it played the funniest trick on me. He/she measured perfectly and heart rate 150. I'm mixed between elated and irked because it was hiding so well it gave me the biggest fright. The little stinker! I was up all night worrying about those few moments I would discover good news or bad news. The doc let me watch him/her jump and wave and it had its hand close to its mouth like it was sucking it. I'm in love and it terrifies me, I'm also very humbled and feeling grateful everything is okay so far.

Yep, I have another appointment next week so I really hope he/she isn't hiding again because that was the worst worst worst feeling ever! My husband called me later and when I told him what happened he was like when that kid comes out he/she is getting a spankin for running away ;) just kidding, but like you said...a sign of things to come. My hair is going to turn white I swear.

A sign of what's to come, right? This little one is going to give you a run for your money! I remember the feelings you were experiencing all too well. It is all-consuming panic. Hopefully that never happens again... I mean, baby is getting bigger and won't be able to hide for long, right?!
