6w4d: Early to Bed...
By DestinyStarr » Posted Mar. 11, 2012 4:48pm - 192 views - 2 comments

The last two nights have been torture. I started having that 'wake up in the middle of the night to pee and then can't go back to sleep' syndrome. *sigh*

This used to happen to me all the time when I was pregnant w/my DD. Back then though, the fatigue/sleepiness would hit me SO HARD during the day that I would have to take a nap at work (office door shut) every afternoon just to be able to function throughout my first trimester.

Ironically, this time I haven't have that sleepy wave hit me yet during the day. My body is like damn you, we are staying up the WHOLE time. I've tried to catch a couple of short naps here and there today, to no avail. Every time I close my eyes, here comes my DD LOL! I guess she doesn't want me to leave her awake alone with my DH, cuz we all know how he "watches" her (on the computer, remote in hand, paying NO attention to her)

It's all good though. I'm hitting the bed as SOON as 'The Walking Dead' ends tonight. I figure by going to bed earlier, then I can get a few critical hours in before my standard urinary wake up call. LOL

Grow, baby grow!

And I love the Walking Dead! I've only been able to see season 1 though, season two isn't out in my country yet :(

I feel you on the night peeing and not being able to sleep again afterwards! I find myself peeing up to 4 times a night, it really puts a damper on the joy of being relaxed and comfortable in bed and resting after a long day. I suppose in a few months it will be the same, except with a small, screaming baby added into the equation and maybe less of my own pee and more of baby's.
