Bruce is doing amazing!

Bruce is supposed to be 38 weeks in utero still, yet here he is 5 weeks and doing amazing! He spent 2 1/2 weeks in the NICU and has been home almost 2 1/2 weeks now. He was under stress in utero with my torn placenta, so his glucose levels were either sky high or way low, but resolved in the NICU, then he was weaned off the isolet, then it was a waiting game for him to learn to mouth feed, gain weight, and eat solely by mouth. It felt like it took forever and it was so hard leaving him in the NICU everyday for that long. But having him home now has been amazing!! He is so loved by his big brothers, they are obsessed with him! Having him home and seeing my whole family together makes my heart feel so full and complete!
