4 months old and quite the singer!

Nina is such a joy, up to 13lbs 3oz, so still a peanut but what she lacks in size she sure makes up for in personality! In the last couple of weeks she's discovered her feet and her voice, and spends all her free time singing (and yelling). She loves to be on her tummy and will roll immediately if laid on her back, and loves to scoot to the edge of her playmat... Lord help us, this girl is going to be crawling before she can eat solid foods!

Our biggest blessing with her has been sleep. With Max he's always had trouble falling asleep, and even now at 2 I have to sit with him until he falls asleep. Nina, in contrast, wants to be left to her own to fall asleep. Right around 9:30 she gets fussy so I lay her in her bassinet and she's asleep on her own within 5 minutes! I don't even know what to do with myself, I keep waiting for the 4-month slee regression to hit and destroy this miracle! She's still up every 2-3 hours at night, but she's recently stopped wanting to eat during her wakings and goes back to sleep quickly so I hope it won't be too long before she's sleeping longer stretches (my boobs haven't gotten the memo yet, holy engorgement, Batman!).

Every minute with her is such a blessing, I never knew my heart could be so full as for these perfect little humans!

I hope she continues to be such a great sleeper! We never had the 4 month sleep regression or any of the other stuff they say happens. If anything, the twins have become better and better with sleep as they've gotten older (THANKFULLY, those first 10 weeks were brutal!).

Good for you! My daughter was like that about sleep. But i did have to snuggle her for naps. By the third, it was you either fall asleep nursing or you are on your own lol. Nina is a little doll.
