Happy half-birthday, Nina!

Half a year down! I am completely in awe of how fast this littleness is growing! Weighing in at 15lbs 11oz, she gained almost a pound this month, jumping her up from th 30th percentile for weight to the 42nd, I think she stores all the extra chub in her cheeks and knees! Not quite crawling yet, she can get up on her hands or up on her knees, but not both at the same time, she is however a champion scooter and loves chasing after her brother one slow scoot at a time. We just got home from 3 weeks out of town and I think th South Dakota air was good for her, since she not only gained a ton of weight but sprouted hair all of the sudden. We're surprised by how light it's coming in, we expected dark hair like Max's, but hers is almost blonde! We also started solids this week, she's been staring at our food and grabbing it for weeks so it was finally time (I don't know why this feels so huge to me, like all of the sudden she's not a baby anymore!), and loves peaches and mangos the best. Our quiet, contemplative baby has also grown an attitude with her new hair, and has lots to say about everything... She's gonna be hell on wheels soon. I can't wait to see what the next half a year brings, Nina grows more and more awesome every day!
