In awe.

I'm a part of a Facebook group of ladies that are all due in January - about 150 members, though not all really active - and to date, twelve babies have been born. Two were are 25 and 26 weeks (one of which passed away, but the other is doing well!) and then the rest have been this December. I'm not gonna lie, I'm so jealous of these ladies posting birth announcements this week. Today is the first day that I physically am having trouble finishing my workday. I ache and I pee and I get heartburn and I can't take a deep breath. I need a nap and have a headache. The joints in my hands are retaining water and causing my knuckles to feel sore and like they need to continuously pop, but they don't. I swear that Wyatt is trying to karate chop his way out of my cervix using some sort of baby-ninja-hand-out-of-the-coochie trick.

That said, it's truly amazing what our bodies do. This making a human thing is one of those humbling experiences that I'm grateful to have taken part in.

At the same time... Get him OUT! ;) Preferably the first week of January, if he's so obliged. Because almost four more weeks of this is going to suck harder than anything I've ever experienced. It'll be worth it in the end, if we can just. get. there!

Dakota, OF COURSE!

Sacha, I hear you loud and clear. I was lucky enough with my eldest to carry him until a day before he was due... for some reason, it seems that this pregnancy is so much more physically difficult than the last. I'm sure he won't come early. Bah humbug. ;) If wishing he was out would make it happen, rest assured I'd be doing nothing of the sort. Lol.

you are only four days a head of me. I is crazy that our time is coming up sooner than we think! Though I due the first week of Feb I am sure he will be the last week of Jan. I don't honestly think he will have much room when he is already pushing on my cervix and ribs at the same time LOL.

Just remember that the longer he stays in and bakes the less trouble he will have after birth. So as much as we want them out to alleviate all this aches and pains, it is best they stay put a bit longer.
