Maybe baby?

So... my last three weekly appointments have gone something like this:

36 week - fingertip dilated, 0% effaced
37 week - 1cm dilated, 90% effaced
38 week - 1-2cm dilated, 90% effaced

My OB said (at this last appointment) that if I come in on Tuesday - TOMORROW! - and I'm dilated to 4cm then he's going to move up the c-section for Wednesday - THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW! OMG. A bit hard to handle. I'm hoping that I've dilated more but haven't done anything to encourage or discourage it - I want little man to cook for as long as he needs to.

Still. EXCITING AS HELL. Everyone send dilating-vibes my way, if you wouldn't mind!

Fitt, they're checking me because... Well, here's the back story.

During my first c-section, the doc had to make an addition uterine incision (called a "t-shaped" or "j-shaped" incision). Because of the vertical part, I'm at a very high risk for uterine rupture. Google it if you want, but it's very scary. My current OB has said that I am to avoid labor at all costs; contractions could exacerbate any danger.

So. They've been checking me since 35 weeks to make sure I don't go into labor - hence the 4 cm warning. :))
