Packing the Hospital Bags.

Okay ladies, so what should I pack in my hospital bag?
I have downloaded some check lists and they all seem pretty much straight forward but I was wondering if there is anything that you needed while in hospital that you didn't even think to pack?
Throw your suggestions at me. xxx

They don't provide nappies anymore, it's on our hospital list. Did you not get one in your blue book ? It's tells you what's required here and what they do and do not provide. :-) we can chat about it at lunch. I'll fill you in. :-) |

I wouldn't take diapers or baby wash or anything like that, the hospital has all of that stuff and will even give you stuff to take home. I also took granny panties. After giving birth you are bleeding and they came in handy for the big pads they give you to wear. I am also packing a phone list for my husband so he knows who to call and when to call them. I want some people to not come until after the baby comes. |

Or something to distract yourself from the earliest part of labor in the hospital. My water broke first so it was crazy helpful to have something since I was at the hospital from the beginning of labor. I did so much research that I had more than enough. Can't think of anything that I wished I would have had. |
