Almost 3 weeks old!

Time can seriously stop passing now!! My baby will be 3 weeks old on Thursday! I have loved being a momma. I just want to bundle her up and squeeze her sometimes. Lol! She's the most beautiful thing I've ever done. Even if she does look just like her daddy. :)
Her 1 month check up is in a couple weeks and she will get her first set of shots. I am not looking forward to that. My poor baby girl. I just love her beyond words. I am already dreading when I will have to return to work. I don't want to miss a thing. Her first words, steps, anything. I wish my hubby could find a job that would afford for me to stay at home with her. Hopefully, one day.
I'm officially 17 pounds down from my original pregnancy start weight! I couldn't be more excited! Woohoo for breastfeeding/pumping! I can already tell a little difference in my body with the weightloss. I'm excited to see how much more I can manage to lose. We go to the beach in about a month and a half and I would LOVE to be down atleast 10-20 more pounds before we go. Wishful thinking, maybe. But, we'll see!
She is doing so great! Her cord is hanging by a thread and should be falling off any minute now. I can't wait to actually submerge her in the bathtub water. She seems to really love the warm water running over her now. The thrush and diaper rash she had is practically gone. We still have a little medicine left in the bottle to finish off, but her mouth and bottom already look 100% better!
I absolutely can't wait for my check up at the doctor. If it weren't for the little bit of bleeding I still have, I would be even more tempted to jump back on the horse, persay. Lol!! It's killing me! I feel totally fine! But, I know there are reasons they tell you to wait. I guess we're back to the pullout method of bc. Lol. I really don't want to go back on any bc due to how long it took us to conceive and how messed up my periods were before. Maybe this pregnancy kick started my cycles back to normal. But, with PCOS, we'll just have to see. Maybe it won't take so long next time...

I'm so happy for you =) Time does fly by VERY fast after becoming a mommy.... my son is already 4 months old!!!! When did THAT happen?! LOL! Hubby and I use pull out and condoms for bc... I'm also afraid of what it would do to my milk supply if I were to start bc, that and it took forever to get pregnant for us too... So happy to hear you're doing so well =D She's beautiful! |
