16 weeks today!

I can't believe I'm 16 weeks already! Times seems to be flying by with this little one. It probably helps that I have a 5 year old and 10 month old to chase around. My biggest complaint this week is the extreme exhaustion I am feeling, and some cramping in my lower abdomen. I think I have a uti. =/ But the exhaustion...I don't remember being this tired with my last pregnancy. It's all I can do to not take a nap during the day, and I'm in bed by 8pm on most nights. Today I caved while Brandt was napping. I brought out my body pillow and laid down on the floor in the living room and fell asleep. Tyler laid down beside me and took a nap as well. I don't think the nap did any good, though. I woke up to a bad headache and was groggy for about 2 hours afterwards. =/ Urgh. I have my 16 weeks check up tomorrow with my ob. Now that we know Three is a girl, I am comfortable in saying she will be my last baby, so I want to talk to my doctor about options. I'm thinking about getting my tubes tied, but I'm not sure yet. I know I still have time to decide, but I want to see what my doctor thinks. I have a few things to talk to her about, and I need to make sure I put my list in my wallet. lol.

And our Texas trip is coming up so fast! In just over 2 weeks, I get to see my best friend. I am so beyond excited, it's not even funny. I am trying to start the packing process. I don't think I realized exactly how much planning and preparation goes into taking a vacation with a 5 year old and a 10 month old. I'm planning on filling a small backpack with toys for Tyler, that way he can keep them within reach during the drive, and I'm trying to figure out how to hang some toys with a bungie cord for Brandt. I love my new van, but it's hard to reach Brandt in his carseat, as it rests between the driver and passenger seat. I can get to him, but it not comfortable at all. I'm also route planning this week, seeing where the rest stops are and such, so we can plan our stops. The plan is to drive for 2-4 hours, and then stop for 30 minutes. Brandt is usually good for right around 3 and a half hours in the car seat at a time, but then he wants out to crawl for a bit. Oi! It's going to be a long trip but oh so worth it.

Kitten90, thank you. And I hear you. lol. My oldest and youngest are 4 1/2 years apart. It's nice, I will admit that. My youngest and this baby will only be about 15 months apart, and I'm kinda nervous about that.

MalPal85, thank you!

Congrats on hitting 16w. I'm only a couple weeks behind you! =) Me and my SO are kind of up in the air about whether or not we want a third child. We did agree that if we do have another baby it won't be for at least 2-3 years. These two babies are only going to be a year apart so that's gonna be pretty rough. I need a little recovery time.
