20+6, anatomy scan

Had my anatomy scan done today. Still a GIRL!! And NO clubfoot! He feet are beautiful and straight and perfect. That is a HUGE relief. She was being really stubborn and wanted to stay curled up in a ball during the scan and she kept putting her hands and arms in front of her face, but everything looks great! Found out today that I have an anterior placenta, which explains the odd feel of her movements and why I only feel her down low and on the sides. Hb was 158 bpm and she's measuring in at roughly 15oz. (Brandt, my youngest, was a whooping pound and a half at this point.) I did gain 7lbs this past month. I am not too happy about that, but yea. Other than that, everything is good to go!

Thank you, ladies!

@rcorinne, when did it start feeling the same? Right now it just feels weird. I can sometimes feel her rolling, almost like she's pushing into the placenta when she rolls, but all kicks and jabs are really down low.

@Kitten, good luck at your scan! And it's possible. I had to ask my u/s tech where the placenta was located, as she had only said that it looked good.

Yay! Glad to hear everything's good with your little girl! :D
I can't wait for my appointment on Friday, I'm such a mix of nervous and excited! I've been thinking that I may too have an anterior placenta. Only movements I seem to feel are down at my pantyline.

Great news. Love to hear about good anatomy scans. I too have an anterior placenta. For the first several months it was different than with my last pregnancy (movements where you describe them), but now that I'm toward the end, it's about the same.
