22+6, update on my concern over losing some of my plug and cramps
By Cattsmeow » Posted Jul. 27, 2015 11:17am - 335 views - 6 comments
I made it through the weekend without a visit to the ER. I haven't lost anymore of the plug since I posted about it, so that's a relief. I'm still feeling Valerie move around and I haven't had any bleeding (thankfully). I got to thinking about it last night and realized I hadn't gone #2 in over a week, so I took a stool softener last night before bed. After spending a good 45 minutes in the bathroom this morning, I am feeling MUCH better. So I'm thinking the cramps were just from constipation. I called my ob this morning and she thinks the same thing. I was also told that it's normal to lose some of the plug with pregnancies this close together, but if I start having regular contractions or bleeding, I should come in. So I'm feeling fairly relieved. Hopefully we can make it to my next appointment without anymore scares.

Comment from Cattsmeow » Posted Jul. 28, 2015 9:09am Thanks, ladies! I took it easy yesterday without any issues, so that's good. lol. I'm trying to space out all the work I need to get done by Saturday for my son's first birthday, so I'm not pushing myself too hard. I'm also glad to say that since I took the stool softener and was able to go that the cramping has pretty much disappeared. Hopefully it stays that way. No more scares, Miss Valerie! | |
