I need to hit the ground running today

I pretty much sat on my butt all day yesterday and I am feeling it today. I've got sore, achey legs and a back ache. It hurts to just walk across the house. I've got so much to clean today. And I finished my youngest son's birthday shirt last night, so I get to wrestle with him here in a bit and take a First Birthday picture of him in it, and get a million of them printed so we can give them to family tomorrow at his party. Somehow, when I was doing the invites (we facebooked it) I swear I only invited 20 people. COMPLETELY spaced the fact that they would be bringing their kids and spouses to the party. (Thanks, pregnancy brain! It exists, no matter what my husband thinks!) So now, instead of the 20 we had planned on, we have 45 people(including kids and spouses) who have said they are coming. OI!!! I hope everyone brings lawn chairs like I asked, otherwise people will be sitting on the ground. I'm scrambling and trying to see if we can borrow a few tables from our church. If the grill wasn't such a pain in the ass to move, I would just see if anyone is using the church tomorrow and just move the party there, but that is highly unlikely at this point. Why didn't I think of all this crap WEEKS ago, when I had time to change things around??

Thankfully my husband's job let him use vacation days for the work he missed last week, due to his back injury, so this check wasn't the teeny tiny one we were expecting. However, he had a follow up appointment yesterday for the MRI he got last week. He has a bulging disk in his lower back (L5S1, I think he said), but the doc at the comp center said it was "normal" and should not be causing him this pain. The man can barely walk, so if it's not the bulging disk, then what the hell is it?? He has PT after work today, and have to make an appointment with a surgeon for a second opinion. (The MRI was done through the VA, since the back injury stems back to the injury that put him out of the service.) We're hoping no surgery, and if he has to have the surgery, we're hoping he qualifies for the laser back surgery.

Also, we should hear back today or Monday about the job he interviewed for Wednesday. As much I would hate to move so far away, I really think this would be the fresh start we need. I just hope our families see it the same way.

Just one day at a time. One day at a time. I will not let my anxiety run rampant and get me down. Wooosa!

It is for sure no joke. I went to WalMart last night and completely forgot what I went for. I had to call my husband and ask him what I needed to get. lol. And thanks!

Pregnancy brain is no joke. My husband picks on me for it. I'm sure the birthday will be awesome no matter how many people! Good luck to your hubby!
