Yesterday was a very busy day. My oldest started kindergarten, so I took him to school. Before we left the house, he was all "I don't want to go to school. I want one more day at home with you and bubby." By the time I dropped him off at his classroom, he couldn't be bothered to wave bye or anything. I ended up crying when I got home. He has just grown so fast and it blows me away. My husband, our 1 year old, and I met him at the bus stop after school, and he said he had fun at school. Only thing is his planner wasn't in his backpack. He said he left it on the bus. I asked the driver this morning if she had found it, and she said nothing was left yesterday. I really hope he just left it in his classroom. The planner is how we coomunicate with his teacher and know if he has any homework, so we don't know if she had written us a note or if he had homework. =/ Then, this morning, he refused to get dressed and eat breakfast. I had to bribe him to get dressed. Told him if he did so quickly, he would have time to ride his bike in the driveway before the bus picked him up. He got dressed, but still didn't want breakfast. I'll try again tomorrow, but I may have to get him some pediasure shakes for breakfast for before school.

I had an ob appointment yesterday as well. My doctor says everything looks great. Valerie's heartrate was 142, and in true Valerie form, she kept moving away from the doppler. I'm up 6lbs from my last appointment, for a total of 16lbs gained so far. (That's a lot better than the 40lbs I had gained by this point with both of my boys.) My blood pressure was low yesterday, but she didn't seem concerned about it. (98/64) I have my glucose test at my next appointment on September 14th.

I did have a concerning incident yesterday, while getting my youngest ready to get my 5 year old from the bus stop. I was outside getting the stroller set up, and out of nowhere, I got very dizzy and lightheaded, and felt myself start to pass out. Luckily, my babysitter was still here and she helped me sit down on the stairs before I passed out, and ran to get me some water. I don't know what happened, or why it happened, but it really freaked me out. I felt like complete and utter crap for the rest of the day. I started feeling dizzy and lightheaded again about an hour ago, and I still feel that way. I also feel really sick to my stomach. I am trying to stay seated, so if I pass out I don't fall. I called my husband and he is going to speak to his boss and see about coming home. I'm at home alone with my 1 year old, who is napping right now, but if I do happen to pass out, I feel like I need someone here. Family lives to far away to come help me out, otherwise I would call them instead of having my husband come home. Urgh. I have had almost no trouble with this pregnancy, and now all of a sudden this past 2 weeks, I'm getting sick and having dizzy/lightheaded spells, and feeling like passing out all the time. Anyone else having these kind of symptoms?

At the beginning of the 2nd trimester, I was getting light headed when standing. Since blood pressure tends to lower and I was on BP medication, I figured it was getting super low. I stopped taking my medication and have been fine ever since. I do get dizzy and light headed when I haven't eaten or not eaten much. I've had a couple scary episodes when I didn't eat or exerted myself. I didn't feel like I wanted to pass out but I definitely felt the need to sit down and stop doing everything. I'm actually feeling like that right now.

I know dizziness and lightheadedness are common during pregnancy, but I have never had spells this bad with any of my pregnancies. It's scary. I walked to the mailbox about 10 minutes ago, and by the time I got back to the house, I was super dizzy again. I still can't decide if I want to hurl or pass out. As soon as I feel safe enough to stand up, I am going to get something to eat, just in case my sugars are low.

Glad your little one's first day of school went well! I haven't had any of the dizziness/lightheaded spells yet but it seems like they are pretty common. Feel better soon!
