35 weeks!

35 weeks today! Whoo hoo!! I am actually feeling pretty good this morning. The only exception being my right hip. I either slept wrong on it last night or I knocked it out of place again. Either way, it hurts like the dickens and is causing my leg to go numb at random times. =/ I know it's only going to get worse from here on out, and it's going to make pushing interesting.

Anyways, since my scare last week I haven't had anymore signs of leaking. I am noticing more contractions, about 1 per hour. They're pretty consistent at being an hour apart, but are not getting any closer or any stronger, so my doc doesn't think it's anything to be worried about. And omg, the bathroom. I may as well live there now. I swear, I am going every 10 minutes on the dot. My oldest was laughing at me all day yesterday because I kept rushing to go.

We finally got our vision insurance info yesterday, so we were able to go for eye exams yesterday. I have been suspecting for a long time now (before we got pregnant with my youngest) that some of my headaches were being caused by eye strain and it looks like I was correct. I went from not needing glasses to needing them, and things are so much clearer now. I can finally see without any blurriness, and it is amazing. I can read for longer than 10 minutes without getting an ache behind my eyes. Yay! My youngest is looking at me oddly now. He is definitely not used to seeing me with glasses. He woke up this morning and cocked his head to the side and asked "Momma?" As soon as I started talking to him, he got the biggest grin on his face and laughed as he touched my glasses, saying "OFF!" lol.

My oldest was on fall break this weekend from school, so he had a 4 day weekend. He was so disappointed he could not go to school. Then this morning he decided he didn't want to go. I got him on the bus by reminding him that Daddy said they would put up the last of the Halloween decorations when he got home from school. He is so excited about the giant spider we got. He wants to put it up on the end of the house, by the street, so that it looks like it is trying to eat the house. We are also going to rake the yard so we can fill our pumpkin bag. I'm not sure if we'll have enough leaves just from the yard to fill it. If not, my husband is going to take him down into the woods to fill it the rest of the way. He is excited about exploring down there, as we do not let him go near the wood line. (It has a steep drop off about 3 feet into the trees, and I don't want him near it by himself.)

Anyways, I think I have rambled on enough for now. lol. Hope everyone is doing well!

Good vision is an amazing thing! I just recently got my glasses and contacts update to prepare for babies. I was wearing glasses chewed up by my dog because I was too stubborn to get a new pair and now that I have a new pair, I don't wear them! Good to hear that Valerie isn't giving her mom any more scares! You are so close! These 35 days are going to go by quickly I bet.

My hips wake me up throughout the night and it's awful! I've also had my left thigh going numb since about 12 weeks. It sucks! Glad the leaking has stopped. Sorry about the contractions but you're so close! Glad you can see now, haha. That's so cute about your son. I'm in a the market for a new pair. Mine are quite old. Have fun decorating! I can't wait to be able to decorate with my boy some day :)
