Holy nesting, batman!

For some reason today, I MUST CLEAN ALL THE THINGS! Omg, nesting has never hit me this hard! (Well, once. They day I went into labor with my oldest son. I spent like 3 hours cleaning EVERYTHING, and 2 hours after that, I went into labor.) I really hope my youngest cooperates today. I'm taking a small break because my back hurts, but I can't sit still. That is how badly I am being driven right now to clean my entire house from top to bottom. I also want to get the boys shirts done for the hospital today. I FINALLY decided what I am putting on them. On the back, they will say "Security: Baby Sister Protection Squad" and the front will have "Rookie Big Brother" for my youngest, and "Seasoned Big Brother" for my oldest. I'm super excited about the shirts. lol. One of Valerie's picture outfits says "Best Baby Sis" on it, so I thought the shirts would be awesome for pictures.

We also got her swing yesterday and got it set up. I LOVE this swing, even though I am not happy about what we had to pay for it. But it is so pretty and does so many things! lol. My youngest really wants to play in it and I keep having to pull him away from it, but I think it will be very handy once Valerie is here.

We are so ready for her arrival. I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and have been having signs that labor is close at hand. Thankfully, my doctor thinks she would be fine if she were to be born now. I'm so ready to snuggle her and kiss her little chubby cheeks!

pbc, I am going mad crazy today with the cleaning! I can't stop. lol. And yes. With kids and pets there is never a do nothing day!

MalPal, thanks! Valerie doesn't have her own room. She has a small corner in my room, right beside my bed. But I keep rearranging her bow holders and stuff on the wall over the pack n play. lol.

Kitten, hopefully this time you are able to get more sleep. We lucked out when my youngest was born last year. It was only him and 1 other baby in the nursery the entire time we were there.

When my first daughter was born last year, I tried to send her to the nursery. They brought her back 15 minutes later because the wouldn't stop screaming and was upsetting the other babies lol. I literally only had 2 or 3 half hour naps in the 4 days we were in the hospital

Love the shirt idea, how cute! I've been organizing and reorganizing the baby room like nobodies business. I think my husband is ready to block it off so I can't get in there, lol. Congrats on 37 weeks! I can't wait to be 37 weeks!

Me too with the cleaning! I'm using my first week of maternity leave (week before my c-section) to go crazy! If I can get the whole 1st floor super clean in 2-3 days, then I will have 4-5 days to just DO NOTHING! But with kids and pets in the house, the do nothing plan never really works :(

Exactly! lol. I hate to say it, but I do send baby to the nursery for a little while so I can *try* to get some sleep. I usually make it about an hour before I'm all like "BRING ME MY BABY BACK!" lol. My husband was really good about letting me sleep last time, so I'm hoping it's like that again this time.

That's pretty much how I feel... the hospital time is gonna be the most relaxing I get done and I can't sleep in the hospital so I'm not gonna feel very relaxed there either lol! Ahhhhh we can sleep when the kids are out of the house I guess haha

I'm laughing right now. lol. Relaxing is the last thing I get to do...ever. lol. There is always something going on. A child to drag out of something or other, a mess to clean up, someone screaming "I'm HUNGRY" at the top of their lungs. I'll be happy if I can get the cleaning and shirts done before she comes. I can relax in the hospital after she's born, as it will be just me, my husband, and Valerie. My boys will be staying with Grandma while we're there. I think that down time is the most relaxed I can hope for. (However, if I'm still pregnant this weekend, my dad may be taking the boys for us so we can get things done and have alone time before she's born.)

Definitely sounds like she's coming soon =) Hopefully she hangs on another week so you have time to get everything done and still have a couple days to relax (as much as is humanly possible when you already have kids lol!)
