!2 weeks tomorrow and almost 3 months old already! Why does she have to grow up so quickly??!! At her 2 month well check, she was 23.5 inches and 13lbs, and she's acting like she's hitting another growth spurt. She's been eating a lot and sleeping a ton for the past few days. She's pretty much slept through the night for the past 3 nights, but she hasn't gone to bed until 10 or later. She's still really gassy, but we can't get her to burp for anything. She farts like a boss, though. She is her father's daughter in that sense, and there are times when I think my husband is just blaming his farts on her. lol. I told him today that her butt sounds like an A-10 Warthog and we both just laughed and laughed about it. (If you've never heard an A-10 firing it's weapon, youtube it.) Valerie is also turning out to be a real ham. She smiles so big and she's got this amazing giggle. She loves to snuggle, and she smiles the whole time. She has amazing head control already as well. Her doctor commented on how well she holds her head. She managed to roll from her belly to her side the other day, but she's only done it once. She loves to sit up, so I prop her up on the couch, and she gets so nosey, looking around at everything. She really lights up when my oldest comes home from school, and will screech at him until he comes over and talks to her. She does the same thing when my husband comes home from work.

We have also got her sleeping on her own now, so we are no longer co sleeping. She has to sleep in her rocker now, though. =/ I can't get her to fall asleep on her own, so I either have to rock her in her rocker, or give her a bottle until she goes to sleep. The rocker vibrates, and I think that helps her sleep. I've tried getting her to sleep in it and then moving her into her crib, but she always wakes up in transit or within 5 minutes of putting her in the crib. So right now, we just set the rocker inside the crib. (We put the bar up so it doesn't rock.) She's been super congested, and the rocker props her up enough that the stuffiness doesn't bother her much, so I'll try transitioning her out of the rocker when she clears up again.

Afm, tomorrow marks 4 weeks post tubal surgery. I'm still cramping in my lower abdomen, but other than that I feel pretty good. The lower 2 incisions are completely healed, but the one on the underside of my navel is still tender. It still has the stitches in it as well, and when I asked my doctor about it, she said it could take up to 4 months for the to dissolve completely. o.O I've been trying to keep them clean, but shirt lint and fuzz is starting to get caught in them, so I'm going to call and see about having them taken out. I'm worried about getting an infection. =/

I also started working out again. It feels great to be able to do my workouts again, even though I am VERY sore afterwards. I have 20lbs to lose to hit my goal weight and I am determined to have it off by May. I think that is totally doable. It sucks that I am down 50lbs since Valerie was born and that I am still in a size 19 for pants. (I'm 170bs currently.) Last time I was at this weight, I was able to wear a 13/14, but now I have so much extra skin from having 2 babies 15 months apart. I'm contemplating getting a tummy tuck next year, but I want to get the weight off and give my body a full year to heal completely from giving birth.

Anyways, I'm attaching a picture of Valerie. She was smiling and giggling and being a complete ham. <3!

She is just adorable!!! 12 weeks has gone by so fast! Hopefully you get her transitioned to her crib easily :) I always had a hard time with it because I enjoyed the baby snuggles, lol. I finally got Allison into her crib, and now it's the only place she can easily fall asleep (besides her car seat), hopefully her baby sister will be in the crib much earlier than 17 months, lol! It was nice to read a journal from you again! I just love seeing all the babies as they grow! :)

She is absolutely adorable!!!! The first laughs and smiles are the greatest thing ever. I wish I had some advice about sleeping but we've had a hell of a time getting ours into their cribs. We've had to slowly transition one step at a time. We had to wean Oliver from feeding to sleep then we started turning off their rocker's vibration to get them used to it. Only the last 2 nights have they slept in their cribs without issue. I have to wait until they are completely sleeping in my arms to put them down. It takes forever! Good luck with getting her in the crib. I'm sure she'll be sleeping in there in no time! I know how you feel about the sizes. I am down 64 lbs (46 preggo weight) and didn't really lose any size in pants. I haven't been this weight in years even though my tummy is bigger. Oh well...it surprisingly doesn't bother me. Now if I could just get this stupid double chin to go away!!!!
