32 Weeks

32 weeks again feels like a large landmark to me. I am not sure why. It is sooo very exciting to know that in less than 8 weeks (hopefully), we will be getting to hold our baby girl for the first time!

We had our babyshower this last Sunday, 09/20/2015. It was amazing. A much larger turn out than expected! We had 50+ adults show up plus several children. It was wonderful to share this amazing time in our lives with our friends! We were spoiled rotten, mostly with little girl cloths. She will NEVER be lacking in that department. Everyone gifted us with such ADORABLE clothing!!! I need to start working on Thank you cards for that as well.

We also attended our first class last night - Baby BootCamp. 95% of the class was useless for us. For example, we already know how to change diapers, dress babies, tell if they are hungry, happy or angry, etc. We took the class because it also offered information on what to expect in the hospital. That was something that we did NOT have knowledge on. It was interesting but I am looking more forward to the breastfeeding and actual birthing classes. I feel like I will get much more out of those than this one.

Feels like we are on the home stretch. Weekly classes, weekly massages, bi-weekly appointments (only 2 more before we start weekly) and other weekly activities that are not involving pregnancy. It is making the time RUSH by faster than I can notice it passing. We will be at the end of the pregnancy and beginning of motherhood and fatherhood journey in no time at all :)

My suggestion MalPal85 - Do a co-ed baby shower. That is what we did and I would open one gift as my hunny opened another. Made it go by MUCH quicker LOL. But it lasted about 3 hours. We had food, played games, decorated onesies and ate cake. presents were last so that anyone who needed to leave
could :)

32 weeks is going to be a landmark for me too because I have a growth ultrasound scheduled for that time =) Glad your baby shower went well!

32 weeks seems like a landmark to me too, hell any week at this point feels huge! So glad your shower went so well. I can understand why she got so many cute clothes...baby girl clothes are just the best!

MalPal - I went to 4 classes: Childbirth, Newborn, Breastfeeding, and Multiples. Too much! I felt like a lot of info was redundant. I'm glad I went but if I knew then what I know now, I probably wouldn't have attended. I have the "What to Expect" book and it does a pretty good job of explaining things, just as well as those classes did.

Congrats on 32 weeks! I've been thinking about signing up for some classes but I'm just not sure. Glad your shower went well. How long did your shower last? We will have 50+ people too and I'm worried about it taking forever and people getting bored. I'm going to try and open presents as fast as possible, haha.
