I feel terrible for not updating on here so often!
Madelyn is already 4 and a half months old! She can roll from belly to back (when she wants to, she's a lazy baby, lol). She hates her floor seat, but loves to be sitting up right if you're holding her. She finally enjoys tummy time for the most part. She loves to watch Allison play and is such a smiley baby!
Her reflux is finally under control and her weight gain is okay! She was 10lbs 1 oz at 2 months old and for her 4 month checkup, she was 12lbs 11oz. She's still on the small side for weight, but her doctor is happy at the rate she is gaining now! She's 25 inches long. She fits into some 3 month clothes but is starting to wear more 6 month outfits because she's so long, lol. We also got the okay to start her on baby cereal (I chose oatmeal). Normally I would wait until she was closer to 6 months, but with her reflux and her being in the lower percentile for weight (17th %) I went ahead and introduced it to her a little over a week ago and she LOVES it! We'll stick with the cereal for a few more weeks and then slowly add the veggies into her new diet.
I am in disbelief that she's already almost 5 months!! She's such a different baby than Allison was. Maddie is normally a happy baby, but when she's upset, she makes sure everyone knows it! She is not afraid to scream if she doesn't get her way immediately!
Her sleeping is great! We cosleep and she wakes to nurse once at night. Sometimes she won't wake to nurse until the early morning hours, which allows me to get a good long stretch of sleep in!
Although I don't update much anymore, I try and log in every few weeks to catch up with everyone else. :) I spend more time on Facebook (although I don't post often on there either, lol). If anyone wants to add me on there, feel free to send me a message or comment on here and I'll give you my info!
Attaching Maddie's 4 month picture. I also had pictures taken of her and Allison in August, but my photographer was having trouble with her computer and I haven't gotten the pictures back yet, but once I do, I'll be sure to share a few of them! :)
