Maddie is 6 months old as of Wednesday! She's still such a tiny girl. She only weighs 14lbs 3.5oz and is 26 inches long. 15% for weight and 55% for height! Her doctor isn't worried and says she's growing well, so that puts my mind at ease a bit!
We stopped her reflux meds and she is doing well without them. We started solids at 4 months and she did fine with them at first, but recently has gone on a solids strike. She screams and fusses if you try and feed her anything. So we're still working on that, otherwise we'll just start giving her smashed bits of table food in a month or so.
She's been reaching milestones like crazy! For such a tiny girl, she's been rolling from back to belly and belly to back for weeks now. She can get around the room just by rolling, lol! She's also been getting in hands and knees position for 2+ weeks already and rocking back and forth. She also can move around the room, not exactly army crawling, but more like she inches her way like a little worm. From hands and knees, she'll use her feet to kick herself forward. It takes her awhile, but she's got quite the determination to follow her big sissy!
It has been so cute watching Allison and Madelyn play together. Maddie just adores her big sister and Allison has come a LONG way since May! They take turns squealing at each other and it is just the cutest thing!
Still no teeth, but she's been chewing on EVERYTHING like crazy! We are getting family pictures taken today, and as soon as I get them back, I'll share a couple on here. :)

Shes still slow, but she definitely makes her way around the living room. She's finally figured out how to move her knees underneath her instead of just pushing herself forward with her feet! |
