Still in shock!

So despite my random contractions and the fact I was laughing and having fun in between them, hubby talked me into calling the labour line.
We were eager to find out if this was indeed labour and if so how I was progressing seeing as this was all new compared to my son's 26+hrs of agony from a back to back labour.
So I may have left out that my contractions were between 13 and 4 mins apart, some painful and some mild.
They asked me too come in and when we arrived at the hospital we were greeted by a host of smiling midwives, one of whom introduced herself as Anne and said she was expecting me, she was to be my midwife for the duration of the stay.
After the usual checks she said I was 3cm with a bulging waters and could feel babies head.
She didn't send us home but brought us tea and toast and sent me for a little walk.
At 10.15am, 45 mins after my arrival my contractions became very regular at 2mins and very painful so I was admitted and offered the birthing pool.
I spent only 3 contractions in the pool before I wanted to get out and push, pushed as I stood to get out and my waters broke. 5 mins later and about 4 pushes, Anne placed Thea onto my chest. I didn't even get to use the Gas n Air.
8lbs almost on the nose which was exactly as I was predicted for her to weigh at 38+4 (thank god she didn't go over and reach her 10lb estimate), a little blue but that was normal due to the speedy birth.
We're home now, I didn't need stitches but still rather sore and very very thankful to all you ladies for all of the support, laughs and wise words.
