What's 40 More Days?
By prinder » Posted Dec. 3, 2014 3:48pm - 432 views - 0 comments

My bladder is the size of a teaspoon because the child is head-down, but the kid is so long that - despite this fact - I am still dealing with heartburn/indigestion from it pressing against my stomach. I feel like a stuffed olive.

I have reached the point of zero-tolerance... and there are at least three more weeks left. That's when the child will be considered term; not the estimated due date.

The final trimester I felt the return of my original energy levels, but that has started to fail me due to the lack of sleep I am able to obtain most nights. Simply put: I'm uncomfortable. My legs and hips are 200% done with sleeping on my side and my back has decided to voice it's objections to the idea as well, now. It isn't due to a lack of trying, either. I'm just too pregnant now for comfort.

Not that this is any real walk in the park for the child, mind. Let's not get this twisted: baby Groot is more than fed up with me bending or twisting or doing anything that involves the physical movement of my mid-section.

Just 40 more days, just over a month left; that's no big deal, right? Yeah, sure, we'll make it, but I reserve the right to not be attractive when I get that far.
