My ankles are starting to swell a little each day more frequently. Oddly enough it seems my right ankle gets the majority of it. The doctor told me it's not bad if you can still see ankle bones so I'm not worried that it means anything. Looked up on internet, it seems if you have swelling and either leg pain/severe headache or chest pain/tightness then no need to get worried. I've gotten little spider veins popping up. Other than that I haven't really had any of the complaints or symptoms that you normally hear pregnant women having. I still haven't had cravings or aversions, my sense of smell hasn't become more sensitive, I haven't gained the average or more amount of weight, I haven't been stuffing my mouth with food, I haven't gotten any energy spurts, no nausea, and no stretch marks.

Last night I did see that when baby moved, whatever limb he was moving made a bump above the surface of the bump (you know "Aliens" style). The only thing I'm concerned with at this point is that it is hard to eat, either I don't feel hungry or I can't eat/drink too much because there's not enough room in my belly. Just laying down or standing from a sitting position causes me to need to catch my breath. Even though the baby seems to be growing at a good rate my hubby is still worried that I am not eating enough. Personally I just hope I am breathing enough.

I was concerned with the swelling also in my ankles so when I mentioned it to my Doc last week, he told me that my legs look great and any "minor" swelling is all par for the course. He also mentioned that I may feel my hands swell over the next few weeks but not to be concerned. Oh the joys of pregnancy. I never had this during my 1st but every pregnancy is different and that is a fact! Feel Good!

hey lady I am 24 almost 25 weeks and i am getting mild swelling in my hands in the mornings. Its not a worry unless like its all of sudden you are just huge every where and you have any other symptoms like headache, visual disturbances, nausea and or vomiting , upper belly pain then be concerned other wise.. yay pregnancy ! lol
