Reaching the halfway point!

So we're over half way there now, I don't know how it has come so fast! Although when I look ahead it still feels like ages to go, I know it will pass quickly too. We have our next scan on in three days, my husband can't manage to be there but my mum will go with me and we have another scan at 33 weeks anyway. I just hope everything is okay in there!

Little one is jumping about a lot, I love feeling the more regular movements! Especially this week they've really become stronger and more regular, I still get spells when I don't feel anything though and I worry but of course it's still early and I'm not feeling little movements. DH hasn't felt it yet, he tried last night but he doesn't have much patience to wait for the right moment! I like having the proper bump now and I'm keeping pretty well really, a little tired and some headaches but all in all I can't complain! I've put on four pounds from my lightest weight, which is still about nine pounds down from my pre-pregnancy weight since I lost in the first trimester, so I feel pretty good about that. I'm going to Slimming World tonight and I think it'll really be starting to go up now though so I have mixed feelings about it! I know I have to gain weight, I know it's normal and healthy, but it's still hard to see the scales going up when I've worked for so long to get my weight down! But, I'll just have to take it week by week and keep eating healthily.

There really isn't much else happening with this pregnancy; now that we're half way I'm going to ask DH to set aside a little time on Sundays to look after our son and let me have some rest time because I've been really struggling with going to work on Monday mornings and I still have four months left of full time with an hour commute! I've had a couple funny symptoms (wooshing sound in my ear, shooting pain in buttock after lying down, numb hands during the night) but they're just little niggles that come and go, I'll bring it up at my next midwife appointment in the middle of April. Oh and I'm enjoying watching One Born Every Minute again; after our first child was born I stopped being interested but now I'm expecting a baby again I find myself really wanting to see all the different experiences and getting all tearful about the little babies!! DH is not a fan :-P Otherwise, here's to the second half of this journey!
