Best Progesterone?

As with every pregnancy.... I am having difficulty getting my progesterone suppositories prescribed to me. The doctor I usually get them from is no longer around.. I think he retired. And the doctor I had with Madison just left her practice so I have to find a new doctor and of course, none will prescribe without an initial visit. And none can see me for a few weeks. I have a little progesterone left from Madison... like maybe 10 days worth of the suppositories. My question is, is there an alternative that would work just as well? I was told the suppositories were as close to natural progesterone as you could get... so what is the next best thing? I believe this to be one of the reasons I miscarry so often. So I want advice from people who have actually used it... or know someone who has. I have googled it and there are so many options and so many say they are the best but it is hard to know which ones are really natural. I have heard the cream versions don't really absorb into the bloodstream well... or well enough to have an effect on pregnancy. I have heard the pill form is dangerous. etc, etc.
I have sent a couple of messages to some ob/gyn doctors around here basically begging for an appointment ASAP so we will see if any can find time to see me.

Comment from adiggs » Posted Sep. 21, 2017 8:31am My test line has gotten much much lighter today. Along with the cramping. I don't think I will be needing any progesterone now. Thank you for offering it to me though :)
Comment from adiggs » Posted Sep. 20, 2017 10:07pm Girl, I trust you. I've been secretly following you on here and the other site for a long time. haha. The suppositories literally look like chapstick if it were in the form of a suppository haha. They have to be refrigerated because they melt. I am willing to do any form though because I don't want to risk not going without it. I checked and I have 13 days worth. It is so kind of you to offer! I think you did last time too, but then I was able to get in to see someone. I will pm you :)
Comment from ericalee » Posted Sep. 20, 2017 9:38pm When you say suppositories do you mean crinone or the little pills you put up there? I have leftovers of both in case you're interested. I don't want anything for them. I've been there with the difficulties with med prescriptions for my pregnancies so just paying it forward. Feel free to send me a pm! We can chat, you can look me up on fbook, etc. To verify I'm not a weirdo or anything :) i don't know much about alternate forms, sorry! |
