I'm 15dpo, 4w1d, and my FRERs don't seem to be getting darker. 14dpo was a tad darker than 13dpo, but today, 15dpo, was lighter than 14dpo and seemingly as dark or lighter than 13dpo. I am awaiting my 2nd beta results and I am absolutely freaking out. I am so terrified of miscarrying again. I have been having cramps off and on, pretty intense ones. No bleeding. Symptoms don't seem to be getting worse/stronger. I just want that beta result so I know how to feel right now. It took us 2 years actively trying to conceive this baby, I can't lose him/her now. :(

I keep reading that the tests don't measure how pregnant you are, just that you ARE pregnant, so I'm trying to focus on that. Pregnancy is so hard after loss.

Try to only test every other day. When your numbers are just starting to increase and double you won't see a huge difference on a daily basis. I know how tempting those hpts are...I am a poas addict! I took 25 tests myself this pregnacy lol.

Are they from the same batch, different tests different sensitivity, more diluted urine, there are so many factors, good luck

Thank so much everyone. I did finally get my 2nd beta results back, and they did double from 19.1 to 41.9. :)

PUT THE TESTS DOWN!!!! LOL

I know the pain of a pregnancy after a loss and how scary it is to have to wait and see how things are progressing... but testing every day will drive you crazy (not to mention cost you tons of $$$ - especially with those expensive FRERs).

If I were you, I'd make an appointment with my doctor and ask to have my hcg levels monitored to make sure that they are doubling appropriately. This is the only way to tell early on if everything is going well. Good luck!

Attempt to relax... your HCG levels are so low because you're so early on right now that so many factors could cause the darkness of the line to vary. Drinking more water, taking the test at a time of day when your urine isn't concentrated, etc. I had 5 miscarriages before this little miracle and was a nervous wreck before each beta so I totally understand. I also had a beta that did not double like everyone says it should... and was still ok. Keep the faith. Hope you get great news that helps you relax!

Everyone is different but typically your tests should be getting darker indicating that the HCG levels are rising and that the pregnancy is progressing. If you are using FRER and continually testing for progression eventually the test line will become so dark it will suck the dye away from the control line leaving you with a very strong test. You may be experiencing a chemical as it is very early days, unfortunately your blood draws is the only way to tell if this pregnancy is progressing as I said everyone's bodies reacts differently to pregnancy tests. The hardest thing for you is that it's taken so long to conceive. I hope this little rice grain continue to grow for you. If you need a friend I've had 4 losses after seeing HB's and 3d&c's in 12mths before this baby. I'm now 32w. Keep the faith Hun. Best of luck xx
