First Scare

So last night I had trouble going to sleep. (I was too hot) So I sat up for an hour. Before going back to bed I went to pee. On my panties was a quarter sized spot of blood. When I wiped it was pink. So I told my husband and we reassured ourselves that since I wasn’t cramping nor did I pass clots, all was probably well. Well at 4am and 6am I had to pee and there was nothing on my pad, but pink when I wiped. So I decided to call my doctor as soon as they opened just to see. Well my RE’s nurse worked me in this morning, given my miscarriage history. So husband and I held our breath as the ultrasound started and there was baby-with heart beating away at 174. Measured 9 weeks and was moving. She said it looked to be curled up. Everything looked fine. I gave a urine sample because I suspect I have a UTI (don’t know if that could have caused this but needed to be checked anyway.) but we won’t know until tomorrow. The nurse said that it could just be that random spotting some women have. As long as baby looks good I’ll be okay. Still have my first OB appointment on Friday and maybe she will know more.

	Comment from Mem401 » Posted Mar. 8, 2018 8:07am I spotted again yesterday morning but I think I know what is causing it and I’m not sure y’all would believe me. So leading up to Monday morning I had been super constipated. Like 24 hours without going. Know what I did before the spotting STOPPED Monday? Went #2. I didn’t think much of that until yesterday. I knew I hadn’t went in 24 hours and was hurting because of it. And I spotted. But no sooner than I finally went, spotting stopped! I have my first OB appointment tomorrow and will talk to her about it and see what she says, but I’m fairly certain. (Also I do have a UTI and am on antibiotics now.) thank you for asking. :)
