So cmere84 had sweetly left me a message this morning asking how things were going. And like I told her, I'm mainly posting when I have news and lately I've had no problems (Praise God!) and I've also had no appointments, so no update. And then strangely enough, now I have something to update! I got the call about the genetic screening! (Yea!) They had said 2 weeks, but it only took a little over one week. First of all--what I was most concerned about given my age and my husbands age, the trisomy's, came back negative. Again, praise God! I also found out the gender, though my sister is hosting a gender reveal this weekend (mainly for my kids and my parents) so I can't share just yet. I will say that I am SO happy! I was going to be happy whether the baby was a boy or a girl, but I suspected it was one more than the other given my husband has fathered 4 children and he leans towards one gender more than the other. We are so excited and I can't wait to share with you all what Tater tot is! :)
I am so relieved and feeling so blessed! 2 weeks from tomorrow is my next OB appointment but I will update this weekend after the gender reveal so be on the lookout Saturday night or Sunday if you are interested!
