14-18 weeks were a breeze, especially with this beautiful summer weather. Time is just flying by. Had a wonderful relaxing vacation at the end of July. It was a little too hot for my comfort zone but we made do. I really treasured the time spent with my family and with my daughter who just turned 3. Came back to a terrible job predicament in which I will spare you the gory details but suffice it to say I had a scare with many people discussing lay offs and me being part of it. Things have calmed down a bit and the stress that was eating away at me is slowly dissipating as I become desensitized and numb to it. I can't imagine what I would do if that happened while pregnant. I have been getting ridiculous bills for labwork and maternal fetal appointments and my high deductible is never fulfilled so its all out of pocket. Trying to be super thrifty right now in case anything happens. In better news my daughter turned 3 and we had a very lowkey family only birthday party for her and it was wonderful. I love her so much. I show her the ultrasounds and pictures of what brother looks like right now and she loves him and says Awwwww. She loves her sibling book we have been reading too. Other than that just been trying to stay busy and keep the house organized as we slowly transition rooms and start to plan for the new bedroom situation. There is a severe shortage of closet space and we do not have large bedrooms so having to get very organized and creative when it comes to maternity wardrobe. The spare room is currently filled to the brim with a queen size bed, 2 dressers, a vanity, and a closet full of my clothing. it will be my daughters room so we have to work on clearing it. My husband occupies the closet in our bedroom along with a dresser. So I just have to figure out where to put all my clothes!!!! I hate small spaces because it limits your ability to stay organized so much. I am a messy person when I don't have a specific place for everything to live. So that's the current project we are facing. I want to have a dent in planning by the halfway mark which is in 2 weeks. Wish me luck and energy!
