I had my first appt at the maternity clinic (I was discharged from the high risk doctor as everything was going well). The Mat clinic in my town has 6 doctors on rotation - they are the 6 doctors that will be on call whenever I deliver so it will be nice to meet (hopefully all of them) before one of them is pulling the baby out of me! LOL. The doctor I met last night was amazing - I hope she is the one that happens to be on call when I deliver. She measured me bigger than I should be and ended up moving my due date from Nov 4 to Oct 31. She also sent me for another ultrasound to check on baby and make sure everything is ok and to check my fluid levels. Blood pressure and heartrate was all good so she wasn't worried - possibly just a big baby - and with the size of my husband it wouldn't surprise me if it's just big (although I was a bigger baby than he was). Who knows. I'm not overly concerned. I ended up getting in for the US today. Hubby couldn't make it as he had meetings he couldn't get out of last minute. I have tried to upload pics but the photo sizing thing on this site is ridiculous and I gave up. Baby was moving all around and sucking it's thumb. I've been getting hard, alien type lumps around my belly button and the tech confirmed that's its feet as it pushes against me and stretches out. It's feet are measuring 4.5cm long (about and inch and a half). We have been putting the nursery together. Crib is up, drapes are hung, I've washed some stuff and the glider arrived today! We are going next weekend to pick up the dresser and some shelves next weekend, then I can start with the decorations once I know where all the big stuff will be living. Just over 3 months to go! We can't wait for this little guy's (or girl's) arrival <3
